DESIGNING OF OPEN CHANNELS AND CLOSED CHANNELS FOR DRAINAGE FACILITIES IN AIRSIDE

چکیده

Drainage facilities are one part of the airside that important to ensure safety area when weather changes occur. This study aims make drainage can be carried out from stagnant water. The calculation refers planned rules so channels design accordingly as not interfere with operation other facilities. In work, material requirements for making open and closed at Dewadaru Karimun Jawa Airport must precisely designed work takes place by specified planning quality standards. research uses a mixed methodology exploratory conducting literature compares observation. analysis starts finding volume each item based on Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 2052-2017, national iron concrete standard. result shows excavation soil channels, total required is 880.24 m3, importance sand 40.76 book substantial rebates mixture ratio 1: 2: 3 23.82 K300 Concrete works U-Ditch type C (100 x 100) 116.29 m3. For needs 16,415.09 kg, formwork 1,408.45 m2, stone river masonry size 100 139 50x50 amounted 42.05 plastering channel 192.46 m2. conclusion this accuracy calculate item's volume.

Cooperative Transition between Open and Closed Conformations in Potassium Channels

Potassium (K+) ion channels switch between open and closed conformations. The nature of this important transition was revealed by comparing the X-ray crystal structures of the MthK channel from Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum, obtained in its open conformation, and the KcsA channel from Streptomyces lividans, obtained in its closed conformation. We analyzed the dynamic characteristics and ...

Both open and closed NMDA receptor channels desensitize.

Desensitization of NMDA receptors was studied at the single-channel level using outside-out patches taken from rat hippocampus CA neurons maintained short term in culture. The amount of desensitization that accumulated as a function of time during the application of NMDA (2.5 microM) was measured by the response to the rapid application of NMDA at a high concentration (100 microM). Records were...

Determination of seepage loss in earthen channels supplied by Hamoon channel in Dorodzan irrigation and drainage network.

Irrigation channels, which are parts of rainwater catchment systems, have been used for water supply in agriculture for a long time. Seepage loss in irrigation channels is one of the farmers' concerns. Seepage loss, especially in earthen channels, can be noticeable. Different equations have been developed to estimate seepage loss amount in irrigation channels. However, the accuracy of the equat...

OPTIMAL CONTROL OF PUMPING STATIONS IN OPEN CHANNELS BY METAHEURISTIC FIREFLY ALGORITHM

Optimum control of upstream pumping station in open channels with given constraint in downstream end is presented in this paper. The upstream control is capable of minimizing water level fluctuations in the channel in which the downstream pumping station causes an undesirable wave. The proposed method combines an unsteady non-uniform flow solver with shock-capturing capability, Fourier series a...

A Comparative Study of Extreme Learning Machines and Support Vector Machines in Prediction of Sediment Transport in Open Channels

The limiting velocity in open channels to prevent long-term sedimentation is predicted in this paper using a powerful soft computing technique known as Extreme Learning Machines (ELM). The ELM is a single Layer Feed-forward Neural Network (SLFNN) with a high level of training speed. The dimensionless parameter of limiting velocity which is known as the densimetric Froude number (Fr) is predicte...
